Global Strategy Development module offers an introduction to strategy concepts and practice while exploring how to develop strategies for large corporations and small or medium sized businesses.
➢ Project Management – ADM 20 credits
Successful Project Management within the creative sector (e.g. arts, media, design, broadcasting, luxury goods, building design, etc.) is essential to take ideas from beginning to fruition, assisting with the operationalising of new innovation and smooth delivery of essential tasks. The project management module explores issues within the creative sector.
➢ Global Media Innovation and Enterprise 20 credits
This module draws on concepts introduced and skills developed in the first semester and helps students apply these to developing their own global media entrepreneurial framework. The central tool used in ensuring the module meets student need, is the development of career outlines. By introducing key aspects of media innovation and entrepreneurship, this module functions as a stepping-stone phase for the students in achieving their professional goals. Whether the student wants to be an entrepreneur or lead an area of existing businesses, the module fosters relevant knowledge and skills within global media management.
➢ Major Project (Masters) 60 credits
The purpose of the module is to enable you to undertake a sustained, in-depth and theoretically informed research project exploring an area that is of personal interest to you. It is important that we can support you appropriately, so you will be guided towards choosing a research topic which is relevant to your discipline and in which your lecturers have expertise. The outcome may take the form of a written dissertation or a practical outcome with accompanying reflective, critical and contextual material. The main consideration when choosing your topic is that it must be relevant to your programme and you should consider the relevance of this topic to your future academic or professional development.
